Welcome to the Yorkshire NO2ID blog. NO2ID is a campaigning organization. We are a single-issue group focused on the threat to liberty and privacy posed by the rapid growth of the database state, of which “ID cards” are the most visible part. We are entirely independent. We do not endorse any party, nor campaign on any other topic.
We aim to publicize the case against state identity management among the general public, in the media, and at every level in government. NO2ID’s members are from all sorts of backgrounds and hold all sorts of opinions on other questions. They almost certainly include people much like you!
This blog is setup to help you keep track of what the campaign is doing within Yorkshire. We have a number of local groups in different areas including Bradford, Leeds, Selby and Scarborough. You can contact the group coordinator or join your local groups email discussion list by going to the Local group webpages
All the best

Good luck with the blog. We feel flattered you chose to imitate us
(when we had a blog up that is)

Thanks David! Perhaps you should think about getting a regional blog going with different coordinators and activist contributing. Just the sort of project you need to keep yourself busy I’m sure. Hopefully I’ll be joined by some co-writers shortly.
